Here is a modest gift for my readers, and for the city I love.
This small taste of San Diego has been assembled from a variety of photos. A few are recent; others are from the past couple years.
Walk around San Diego and you will never go hungry. Every day presents a new feast for the eyes!

Beautiful city, beautiful memories! Point Loma and O.B. were my childhood haunts. As teenagers with our first cars, we added Old Town and Mission Beach to our repertoire. The cannons at Liberty Station were saluting guns. The grass field in front of them was an asphalt parade ground where every Friday the graduating classes paraded before families and dignitaries before receiving orders to schools or the fleet. Depending on the attending dignitaries, 17- 19- or 21-gun salutes were fired by those guns. As a young child living just up the hill, the source of that weekly gunfire was a never-ending mystery for me. Great pictures, as always, my friend. Keep enjoying every day!
