It’s much cooler in San Diego now that summer has ended. Today the sky remained overcast. The temperature was perfect for an exhilarating walk after work.
During the past few days I’ve noticed signs of autumn have appeared around San Diego. No, the palm trees haven’t turned yet.
Enjoy a few photographs. And maybe a laugh!

Funny, I had the same thing today when I went for an afternoon walk. I noticed the first sings of autumn, the leaves beginning to change color a bit, a slight coolness in the air. Was still a lovely sunny day mind 🙂

I bet autumn is more apparent where you live. In San Diego the climate is so moderate one doesn’t see a truly dramatic change.

It is very noticeable when autumn begins in the UK, as it gets much cooler, especially in the evenings. It seems more dramatic this year as we’ve had such a lovely, long hot summer, not something we get a lot of here. Really been nice to see all the leaf colors beginning to change slowly on the trees as well 🙂

In Southern California we’re nearing Santa Ana season–those hot dry powerful winds that often drive the big wildfires you might hear about in the news. Hopefully it isn’t a bad year.

Yes, I’ve head about those on the news before. I hope it doesn’t get bad this year for you. It can get a bit stormy here in the winter, sometimes with lots of snow, otherwise we are quite lucky weather wise.
