In Seaport Village and on the grassy fringe beside it one can find all sorts of curious, interesting and helpful folk. There are street performers of every kind. You’ll find clowns, cartoon portrait sketchers, an amazing rock balancer, guys with colorful exotic birds, face painters, henna tattoo artists, balloon twisters, poets, musicians, people in cute costumes posing with tourists, marvelous magicians, palm readers, tarot card readers and various seers with crystal balls.
Above is a pic of Papa Alex, a friendly psychic. According to his sign, he’s a specialist in love problems and finance. Seniors are entitled to a 75% discount.
And here are more pics taken on several of my walks…

Papa Alex is a very kind and sweet psychic, he gives excellent advice as well. An enlightening afternoon was well spent w/ Papa Alex.
Awesome experience really showed things from a different perspective
I ran into him during my first visit to San Diego.
He was really funny and taking me for a fool I have to say.
At one point, he grabbed the playing cards and told me he wanted to teach me how to interpret the cards:
“The king” is the king, he’s good
“The cards with hearts” are about love
At one point during my consultation, he told me that I will have 5 grandchildren, etc…
Then he asked me to pick 5 cards wanted to interpret the cards and told me his predictions are correct.
I picked the card “2” and then “3”. He said: “Aha! See! 2+3 = 5” and I told you that you will have 5 grandchildren.
I walked away.
