My walk early this morning was a real treat. Magical, mysterious fog had crept during the night into the very heart of downtown San Diego, where I live. High skyscrapers disappeared into the gray. Please enjoy a few photos…

Fog is always adding something new to a familiar place. Great pictures with all the angles and lines fading away in the grey foggy blur.

Palm trees and fog look funny together π Though I do remember fogs like that in tropical Australia as a kid, nowadays the fog makes me think of London and cold places. Interesting pics, they make me think of all kinds of stories and scenarios…

Fog doesn’t happen too often here, but when it does it can be really thick in spots. It’s seldom cold! One thing we almost NEVER get on the coast here is snow! Perhaps once in a hundred years!

It’s funny, when it does snow in the nearby mountains, about an hour to the east, there’s a traffic jam of people with kids and sleds. Many around here have never seen the stuff!

For kids it’s fun, I’m sure! Especially if it’s just for a day π I once went sledding as an adult and was surprised at what a wimp I’d become, I was terrified of the speed! Haha π As a child, I would’ve loved it! Oh well! π
